Bag Check | Leslie’s Spring Arsenal
Like most women, Spring reserves the right to change its mind on a moment’s notice. While we don’t like this—we accept it—and thus prepare! We suspected our Global Marketing VP Leslie Smith of doing an exemplary job at this very task, so she let us peek in her bag. Turns out, we were right. Enjoy! xx
1. Eastside/Westside Tote - I carry all my NYC essentials while wishing I were in LA! 2. Juicy Smile Umbrella - It’s hard to look cute when your hair gets wrecked.
3. Drybar gift certificate - See, above, need for umbrella.
4. Ice Breakers - Have you tried them? They’re amazing. I don’t even know what they taste like—it’s literally like minty crystal.
5. Neon Edge Linen Scarf - If you want to start a conversation in New York, say “What’s with this weather? It’s cold, it’s hot…” But this scarf helps me keep up! 6. The New Yorker - I always read “Tables for Two” and the TV reviews first. 7. Flats and a duster - I almost always wear heels at the office (especially when I’m meeting with Vogue), but wear cute flats for getting to & from! 8. Pink earbuds - So I can listen to “California Girls” and imagine I’m driving up the PCH. 9. Juicy Gem Keyfob - Big tote = big key chain. It’s the worst when you’re digging for your keys in front of your apartment or car. 10. The Official Filthy Rich Book - A girl can dream. And it’s surprisingly full of useful vacation tips!
11. L’oreal Lip Gloss - A great berry color and smells good too!

Behind the Couture | We Did It Ourselves

As evidenced by this little photo-montage, we’ve been having a lot of fun around the office playing with our new DIY Couture Yourself Charm Collection. We love that no two are alike, and that you can mix the old with the new. Here, the creators talk inspiration.

1. While The Notebook is certainly not in my top 10 list, this line is definitely a personal favorite. After all… ‘if you’re a bird, I’m a bird.’ —Erin Diamond

2. I threw in a funny turquoise skull to keep all the love and peace symbols from getting too serious. —Lisa Germinsky

3. It’s all about luck and love. The ladybug and wishbone are lucky, the hummingbird is for peace and love, and the B is for my husband. —Jennifer Belfatto

4. Me and a palm tree. Need I say more? —Leslie Smith

5. I’m loving the 70s glam references inspired by my favorite gypsy—Stevie Nicks, of course. The crystal rock charm, Juicy pave feather, and vintage engraved coin, along with my initial H all have personal meaning. —Hillary Bott

6. I love that collectively, it’s unique! —Lynn Reed

Office Arm Candy | Charmed We’re Sure

Spotted on the lovely Leslie Smith, our senior director of marketing. She’s awesome. Know how you can tell? By this rockin’ combo of beads, charms, brass and leather. Oh, and of course a little Hermès.

1. If you had to name this arm candy mash up, what would it be?

Vampire Weekend.

2. What’s the hero piece?

The Hermès watch my business partner gifted me when we sold our company, Hollywould Shoes.

3. What’s the most sentimental piece?

The leather bracelets bought in Capetown on my honeymoon.

4. What would be the perfect setting to wear this particular stack?

I’ll definitely be wearing my all time fave. Juicy Couture charmies while I’m enjoying a Dark + Stormy and watching the teams compete at the first annual New York Harbor School Regatta.
